Disclaimer (My Blog In a Nutshell)
Okay so let me tell something to those of you who are thinking about following my blog or just did, a real short fyi, so you’ll know what to find here.
I am an art blog. I tend to focus on nature or abstract photography, trippy or psychedelic images and gifs and whatnot. There’s no naked hipster girls with perfect legs or derpy images of musicians (unless they’re extremely funny, but even that… I’m thinking of opening up another blog for that stuff). However there’s no pictures of weed or acid or people doing drugs because of reasons. Keep reading to know more about it.
I am a music blog. It’s the most important thing in my life at the moment, and be warned, I tend to spam with band pictures sometimes, just to let you know. Especially during livestreams, although that doesn’t happen very often anymore. If you want to know which bands, read on.
So yeah things you’ll find here are either really beautiful art, relevant pictures of bands or artists that I love (again I don’t tend to reblog the random stuff, or stuff that’s already been seen 45647 times) and some angsty read more text posts that encourage you to ask me questions. Yeah, ask me questions alright.
Regarding promotions, follow games, BOTWs and networks, here’s my take:
I don’t promote anyone nor wished to be promoted. Sometimes, blogs I follow asked to be voted “Blog Of The Week” and message numbers in exchange for promotions. I tend to help them out if that’s what they want, and because I rarely use the anon feature I message them numbers, I always indicate that I am NOT looking for promotions, but if they choose to publish the message I won’t refuse followers haha.
I don’t do BOTWs and I don’t want to be anyone’s BOTW. I also don’t reblog posts regarding follow trains or, again, promotions of all sorts.
I don’t always follow back, but if you ask me to check out your blog kindly there’s a chance I might. Also if we just have a nice and friendly conversation, I most likely will. If you follow me just to see if I’ll follow back, then don’t even bother in the first place.
I think, however, that networks are an awesome way to bring people together, so maybe I’ll join one at some point.

To you I’m Chris (but that’s not my legal name), a 15 year-old Brazilian girl.
What’s your real name?
My real name is obnoxious, formal and none of your business since I don’t consider it my name.
What were your old urls?
I used to be peaceheartmusiclove when I first joined from June 2010 to July, when I changed into amillionparachutesforeternity to honor my favorite songs back then.
On October 9th 2010 I changed it to anotheroneofthosepeople as a reference to John Lennon’s quote:
“I’m not going to change the way I look or the way I feel to conform to anything. I’ve always been a freak. So I’ve been a freak all my life and I have to live with that, you know. I’m one of those people”
After a while, I don’t know how much honestly, I guess december? I changed it again to howigotmyscars, I had found my old 8th grade blog… haha it’s gone now, but hey I wanted to umm I don’t know make up for how stupid it was?
I took a hiatus in early february and came back in late march when I changed my name again for my brand-new guitar, a Fender Strat called Scarlett: scarlettstrat.
In April 2011 I changed it for the last time to act-real-peace. It’s silly and I’m naive, but I believe in peace. I believe in the easiness of conflict + reason. Not conflict + violence. I see this picture that says Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity, I completely agree. Too bad the country I live in doesn’t, but still, they want peace, it disgusts me.
For like three weeks then I changed into creative-freedoms.. if you don’t know where that is from, then this blog won’t do much for you hehe, but it’s an MGMT song lyric.
Why Gumbees?
Since apparently it’s not as obvious as I thought it would be, it’s a mix of Gumby and the Pond song Bees :)
Where do you live in?
Italy, but I call it “Bootland”. Let me tell you about it: if you’re traveling, seeing countries like Florence, Rome or Venice, you’ll think it’s awesome, full of art and amazing food, and that’s true.
But try living here. Really it’s… unbearable. Everything here is old and wary. Justice doesn’t work, individuality doesn’t exist and people are jerks. Plus everything’s just so static, no changes, no revolution. And yes, everything comes down to Mafia. It’s really a limited place.
How many/Which languages do you speak?
Parlo Italiano, falo portugues, I speak english y hablo espanol. I’m forced to learn french but I don’t like it HA HA.

I also don’t really know how to use accents in this damn italian retarded keyboard so I sound illiterate most of the time.
What are the most important things in your life?
My family + my dog, rare friends and my iPod.
Music is everything to me.
What music do you listen to?
I really experiment with everything and things I can’t take are either rap, certain types of heavy heavy metal, or screamo. I actually quite like metal’s instrumentals, it’s just the screaming and the growls that are off-putting sometimes.
My favorite type of music is definitely psych! I think it’s just so explorative and it can reach the height of human inventiveness and imagination. It’s pure and it can get so introspective, I just love all the possibilities there are.
I also like post-punk, amazing classic rock, chillwave, some post-rock, indie, some electronica, some punk and shoegaze.

Hobbies?
I do some stuff besides sitting on my ass and complain and blog. I play guitar (or attempt to) and I love to draw, anything… I need more practice as well. But honestly I guess reading too and wondering about life and the mysteries of the mind. Yeah that’s what I do.

Are you a hippie?
I don’t like labels, but I guess you could call me that in some ways. In the purest sense of the word hell yeah! I’m all for peace and love between people, defending every single one and pursuing happiness. I also choose not to wear clothing that required the death of animals.
But in some ways I’m not. I’m not a vegetarian, that’s actually because at the moment, living with my parents and everything I really can’t. For one, they wouldn’t approve (urgh.). I’m trying to go pescetarian for the time being.
Ever done drugs?
No. I really haven’t tried any of the “naughty” stuff yet. But the idea fascinates me. At this point, I don’t find myself ready or I don’t think I need them, but perhaps I’ll experiment later in life. Maybe yes, maybe no. Most likely at some point I will, since I vowed in my life experiment the “unknown”. Psychedelics. I want to stay away from addictive things though.
And this is why you won’t find any relatively drug-appreciative posts on here. If I haven’t done anything, I won’t act like I do, that would be stupid haha.
Fave Movies?
My all-time favorite is probably Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, but other movies I love include:

NOW REMEMBER. NO MATTER HOW TEMPTING IT IS DO NOT WATCH THE MOVIE “IRREVERSIBLE”. Or watch it at your own risk, I told’ya not to.
TV Stuff?
British shows always win people. Sorry Americans.
But my favorite tv show is UK Skins, and also: Misfits, New Girl, How I Met Your Mother, Doctor Who, The Mighthy Boosh, Never Mind the Buzzcocks (I could watch that forever) Freaks and Geeks, Arrested Development.
Soon I plan on starting the UK Being Human, Shameless and The Office, That 70’s Show, 30 Rock and The Big Bang Theory. And in the past I used to be a huge Ugly Betty fan.
Best friends?
Yeah right. I’m not really into gossip-bitchy-slutty brats that go to my school as friends. There are a few exceptions, but what it comes down to… I’m mostly lonely.
Single or taken? Straight?
I’m straight. I don’t have a boyfriend because I have issues with commitment and I’m currently not even looking for anyone. I have this need to keep everything in my life really fresh and dynamic, so I often change my mind and lifestyle and I like to avoid “habits” and quotidian things.
Although I’ve never been in a relationship, I tend to get myself in really weird and awkward situations. I have a pretty strange idea of what that would be like since I’m not romantic at all.
I do have an obsession for boys with long hair though, and I’m pretty open about that on here.

Seriously, I’m agnostic. I think men are pretentious and think of themselves as selfish beings that believe to be better than everyone else, hence they think they can know if a God exists or not.
I simply don’t know and I’ll never know. Atheists, you can’t prove there’s no God; believers, you can’t prove there is.
Are you happy?
Ultimate contradiction: I can’t say that I am. I honestly wish I was, but I think that once I’ll leave the nasty place I’m in and find more people like me I’ll be. Tumblr makes me happy. But when you’re alone… you can’t really be happy.
I used to have dysthymia in Middle School. Miraculously, I was able to get over it without ever touching antidepressants. Though I have really weird relapses sometimes.
Facebook?
I don’t have a facebook and I won’t have one in the future either, it’s just not something I like to do, stare at pictures of others all day. I simply don’t care what they do.
What do you look like?
Usually I have a picture of me as the icon but in case you were curious: I’m a curly haired brunette with hazel-ish eyes, I’m very short (5”2’/1.57 m.) and I have a tattoo of three birds on my right ankle.
Biggest dream?
Become an artist. I think I’ll have a badass psych band at some point in life.
